Hemerocallis ' Barbara Mitchell'
Breeder:Charlie Pierce,1984
This beautiful daylily won the Award of Merit in 1990 and the Stout medal in 1992. It is a mid season daylily which performs well in most climates.
It has been done a tetraploid conversion which is also used by many breeders to produce flowers of better substance.
'Barbara Mitchell' is an opulent, ruffled pale pink daylily . The pink pigment may have beige undertones in cooler climates; deep pink veins create the impression of cordury texture.
Its flower has a 6'' diameter while the plant is 20''high.
