A very beautiful and decorative tree.
It belongs to a very large family of Tropical dicotyledone plants,
(masculine and feminine trees) often caracterized by a very decorative flowering and big capsule pods. That’s why they are often used in urban green projects all over the world though they were born in Australia. About the name it is curious to notice that “Sterculius “ was a Latin divinity protecting the entrance to the fields.
